Happy Birthday Dad!

Happy birthday Dad! I just want you to know that I love you and am SO thankful for you. We have had so many special moments from benny's bagels breakfasts, hiking, Europe & auburn. These are some fun(ny) pics of us through the years! I am so excited I finally get to celebrate a birthday with you. Due to Camp Ozark I think it has been since I was 8 that I have actually been with you to celebrate your birthday! Thanks for always being so understanding that we all missed it.
I pray that you feel LOVED and special today because you are!!!!

Emery Kate is 3 months old!!!

Look at those cheeks!

Emery Kate likes her Bumbo!

She loves her Daddy!
Will she be a Baylor Bear??

Baby Blue was the color of her eyes :)

bath time!

She just started playing in her jumperoo this weekend...she really likes it! Check out her cute dimple.

Just checking herself out before church!

enjoying a laugh with her mom and dad!

Emery Kate is three months old today! What a joy she has been to me and Blake. She is smiling now and giggling. I love it! It melts our hearts. She is such a good baby. She sleeps 11-12 hours at night, takes good naps, nurses in 6 minutes and is content to run errands all day with her mommy. Could I ask for a better baby? I am so blessed and thank God each day for her. To all my pregnant friends...you are going to LOVE being a mom!

May the Fourth be with you!

July 4th at the Marable's always consists of the Valley Mills Parade. Valley Mills is a tiny town outside of Waco. Our family has made a float 3 previous years and we have won first place everytime. Most of the floats are trailers with hay or wagons with kids in it....nothing extravagant. Ours, on the other hand, is WAY over the top! This year we had 2 trailors hooked together and as you can see Brandon built the star wars space ship thing. I am not a Star Wars person, so I don't know the names of all the people, but you can see many were present on our float. The theme was "may the fourth be with you". Get it??
Anyway...we had this huge float with 26 people on it. We had two canons that shot ticker paper and candy and we had a portable mike and pc so his grandma could sing "God Bless America". It was, once again, over the top!
Much to your shock as well as ours...we didn't win!!! We lost to a trailor of 10 year old softball players on hay bails. Seriously! We think it was rigged :)
Or we think that Valley Mills was mad at us for littering the city with all that paper! It was so much paper that we shot out!
However, we once again had a great time...Emery Kate slept through the whole thing! Maybe she will enjoy it next year when we take home the prize!!!
