Our church had baby dedications the day after EK's dance recital. It was perfect b/c all our family was already in town. Blake and I are so thankful for the opportunity to present Burson to the church and pray for him. Blake spoke about what a real man is like and how we are praying Burson would lead well, honor women, love the Lord and not be passive. Please pray that Burson's life would be marked by these things. I'm so thankful that he has a father who demonstrates these qualities in his life. He will have such a great example to look up to- a father who points him to our heavenly Father.
We also felt the verse Psalm 63: 3-4 for him- that he would be a worshipper
"Because your steadfast love is better than life, my lips will praise you. So I will bless you as long as I live; in your name I will lift up my hands."
So thankful for such a big family that loves our children so well and supports us in so many ways, including prayer. We are blessed.
I love this picture of Molly with Burson. It reminds me that she is still so little. I can't believe she's no longer the baby. Love that little girl.
Blake and I truly are SO thankful to the Lord for a son.
We already love him so much.
Pray for us as we raise our three children.
