When Burson was about 5 1/2 months old I gave him his first rice cereal. He was a fan and I didn't have to lift a finger. His sisters take care of a lot of his food intake :)

First day of school 2013
This year the girls are at Northwest Bible Church again for MDO and preschool. They both really love it. Emery Kate has a class of only girls this year which is fun for her and Molly loves her classmates too! They still go on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9-2.
Burson's first haircut
Burson was born with so much hair that before he was even six months he required a haircut! He was so cute sitting there getting it cut! He could barely even sit up at the time!
Don't think they get more handsome than that :)
a sad farewell
When I found out my brother and sister were moving their families to Michigan it really was one of the hardest times in my life. I love both of them and their spouses and their kids so much and have so enjoyed living life with them that I couldn't even imagine living life without them. My kids loved their cousins more than anyone else and loved playing together so much. I just imagined our kids all going to school together and living life together- i never imagined they would end up in Ann Arbor. God had other plans. I am so thankful to have siblings that would give up a nice life in Dallas to bring life and light to the people of Ann Arbor and the Detroit area, but gosh it is hard for us marables! Thankful to have a God who is one of comfort and for our friends and family here in Dallas and Waco.
Sweet Molly was so comforting to me when I would cry and Emery Kate would just want me to stop b/c she does not like to see my crying. The hardest times for me are when the kids miss them. EK doesn't like doing face time with them b/c it makes her sad. Breaks my heart.
We tried to spend the last few months that they were here with them as much as possible. I have captured some of the times here below.
I just want Christy and Jason to know how SO VERY thankful I am to be their sister and for the time we did have living life together as married couples. I miss you all daily and thankfully as I write this we just got back from our second trip up to visit! So happy about that! I am also so so thankful that Mary Beth and Hanj are still here. Love them so much and so thankful that Mary Beth is with my kids while I work. Couldn't be more blessed by that.
Lord, let your kingdom come to Ann Arbor and Detroit!!!!
I only got a little time with my sweet niece Corrie before they moved. She is so beautiful.
