9 months

Burson was 9 months on December 22nd. I LOVE this stage. He is such a joy to all of us! He loves to sit and play with toys for the longest time. He isn't crawling yet but somehow makes his way all around. He is super close to crawling. I need to enjoy these last couple of weeks before he is on the move and my life gets a lot busier!

He is saying "mama" and "dada" and "duh". He waves bye bye and Aunt B even said he blew a kiss at her :)
He loves us singing to him, especially this little light of mine, which was molly's favorite as a baby too!
He has had his 3rd haircut and still just has his two bottom teeth.
We all just adore our little burbear so much!! Can't believe he is so close to one!!!

He is already a big Baylor Bear fan...this was the Baylor Tech game at Cowboy stadium.
He has his momma's heart...that's for sure!

love my boys!

She loves being his big sister and he lets her hold him all the time!

Our christmas visit to Michigan was COLD! And I didn't have gloves for Burbear so coached lent his :)

Unfortunately he has had to do breathing treatments like EK :(
He is always a fan of baths or showers with his silly sisters!
We love you more and more everyday burson!

Christy got Blake a cookie cake for his birthday! (we continued the tradition despite the move!)
lots of fun birthday parties

B is always holding a baby
we were also able to go to the Baylor Tech game at Cowboy stadium...Burson joined us!

love this of Burbear with PawPaw

Thomas was Carrie's date to the game!

We have loved alternating taking Harper to Ballet with us! Emery Kate really has fun with her! She is a doll!

I love this all about me robot EK made at school...my favorite is that she is special b/c "I go to Michigan" and I love that she wants to be a chef when she grows up! Sounds good to me!!

We had a big ice storm the first week of December. It was crazy....the girls loved it!

Molly kept wanting to eat the "bicycles"

It was all fun and games until we lost our power for two nights. We snuggled the first night but headed to Waco after that!
lots of this in our house all the time
as you can see Burson gets plenty of attention :)
a few moms took our girls to see the Nutcracker that was performed by girls from their dance studio...it was so sweet.
that weekend of the ice storm we headed to Waco for power but also b/c we had tickets to the Baylor Texas game...the last game at Floyd Casey. It was around 20 degrees...BRRRR

Baylor WON and clinched the Big 12 Championship!

 it was a fun night!

we move a lot....goodbye Town Hill

We loved our home on Town Hill Lane. It is especially dear to us since we redid the entire house. It was a wonderful house. We loved living there, entertaining there, playing with our kids there, everything. The only negative was it wasn't in a great school district. We had been looking at moving to lake highlands sometime within the year since Emery Kate will start kindergarten next year (tear). We always had our eye out and we fell in love with our house now and put an offer on it. That week we put our town hill house on the market and got it under contract the next day. It was such a blessing!
We still miss aspects of our old house but honestly I think it was good timing to move. It was right after everyone left for Michigan and it kind of helped me get my mind off of being sad about their move. It is still weird to me though that Christy hasn't even seen the house. Thankfully Jason and Alex got to see it before they moved. It's ironic b/c it is literally about 1/2 mile from their old house.

The girls have done well with the move. One time Molly said she missed our old house. We made their new room (which they still share) look the same as their old so I think that helped.
Last pic in their old room.

 Our new home

Sterling came up with Cindy to help us during the move. She was amazing with Burson and the kids like always! We love her.

It's funny b/c everyone one of our kids has come home to a different house and moved before they were a year old!
emery kate- Woodcrest Lane
molly-Glennox Lane
Burson- Town Hill Lane

we think we will actually stay at this house for awhile...
