Thanks for a great trip to the Cascades Mom & Dad!

Mount Rainier from the plane! Emery Kate on her first plane ride with daddy!

The first hike with Emery Kate on Blake's back! We went on a 7.5 mile hike and she did great!

Obviously she took time to take a nap during the hike!

The view from the top of the pass where we hiked! Gorgeous! Isn't God the most amazing Creator! How can you not believe?
Mimi changing her diaper...pretty nice view from a changing table :)

Thanks Maria for coming to help with the kiddos! Emery Kate misses you...and we do too!
Random pic...Steph thanks for making this adorable outfit for EK. It looks so cute on her! Can't wait for Tucker to come!
We had a great trip to Cascade National Park in Washington state. It was so beautiful and I just loved the time with my family. We are truly blessed to all enjoy each other so much! We hiked a lot, went white water rafting, enjoyed canoeing and newcomb (sp?) ball. It was all so fun.
Family, I learned so much from all of you during our devotionals. Thank you for sharing your hearts and your passions. I am challenged by you all.
Dad & Mom, I love you both so much and am so thankful for getting to go on this trip together! We will have to do another one soon :)

Happy Birthday Dad!

Happy birthday Dad! I just want you to know that I love you and am SO thankful for you. We have had so many special moments from benny's bagels breakfasts, hiking, Europe & auburn. These are some fun(ny) pics of us through the years! I am so excited I finally get to celebrate a birthday with you. Due to Camp Ozark I think it has been since I was 8 that I have actually been with you to celebrate your birthday! Thanks for always being so understanding that we all missed it.
I pray that you feel LOVED and special today because you are!!!!

Emery Kate is 3 months old!!!

Look at those cheeks!

Emery Kate likes her Bumbo!

She loves her Daddy!
Will she be a Baylor Bear??

3 for 3 months...sic em!

Baby Blue was the color of her eyes :)

bath time!

She just started playing in her jumperoo this weekend...she really likes it! Check out her cute dimple.

Just checking herself out before church!

enjoying a laugh with her mom and dad!

Emery Kate is three months old today! What a joy she has been to me and Blake. She is smiling now and giggling. I love it! It melts our hearts. She is such a good baby. She sleeps 11-12 hours at night, takes good naps, nurses in 6 minutes and is content to run errands all day with her mommy. Could I ask for a better baby? I am so blessed and thank God each day for her. To all my pregnant friends...you are going to LOVE being a mom!

May the Fourth be with you!

July 4th at the Marable's always consists of the Valley Mills Parade. Valley Mills is a tiny town outside of Waco. Our family has made a float 3 previous years and we have won first place everytime. Most of the floats are trailers with hay or wagons with kids in it....nothing extravagant. Ours, on the other hand, is WAY over the top! This year we had 2 trailors hooked together and as you can see Brandon built the star wars space ship thing. I am not a Star Wars person, so I don't know the names of all the people, but you can see many were present on our float. The theme was "may the fourth be with you". Get it??
Anyway...we had this huge float with 26 people on it. We had two canons that shot ticker paper and candy and we had a portable mike and pc so his grandma could sing "God Bless America". It was, once again, over the top!
Much to your shock as well as ours...we didn't win!!! We lost to a trailor of 10 year old softball players on hay bails. Seriously! We think it was rigged :)
Or we think that Valley Mills was mad at us for littering the city with all that paper! It was so much paper that we shot out!
However, we once again had a great time...Emery Kate slept through the whole thing! Maybe she will enjoy it next year when we take home the prize!!!

Duncan Stephen Lewis Ogden is HERE!

Thursday night Duncan was born! He is so precious, a little peanut weighing 6 lbs 6 oz. He looks just like Jayden did when he was born just about 2 lbs lighter! We have had so much fun...Emery Kate is so excited to have a cousin her age! Christy did a great job, and said it was easier the second time...which made me excited! I read this quote by the nursery and I loved it: "A baby is God's opinion that the world should go on." -Carl Sandberg. What a great quote...you really do feel like you are experiencing a miracle when you look in the nursery window and watch a new baby experiencing the world for the first time! Praise God for his perfect design!

I'm sure our neighbors love us...

So, Blake bought a Sno Shack. Really...that is really our house and that is really a sno shack in front of it! Blake would drive by this house on his way home from work every day and he would see this sno shack in the backyard, so one day last week (when he was seriously craving a sno cone) he decided to knock on the door and ask if they were interested in selling it. Sure enough....they were! Blake and his friend Drew were fired up to sell sno cones. They researched places to do it and then ran into a hitch when they discovered Dallas doesn't allow permits for sno cone stands. Meanwhile, Blake was researching Craigs list and went ahead and listed the stand...before they had even officially bought it. And, Blake the entrepreneur, flipped the stand for over double what they purchased it for. They picked it up on a saturday where it sat in front of our house and a family from CALIFORNIA came and picked it up today...seriously. I am sure our neighbors are so relieved that they weren't going to have to call the city on us for having a hideous sno shack in front of our house. But, unfortunately Blake is still craving a sno cone. Anyone know where he can get one?
