random iphone pics

Just wanted to do a post with some random pics from my phone. 

EK had an ER scare in january. She wouldn't move her neck and the doctors were concerned about meningitis. Thankfully, it turned out to just be a neck strain. Praise God!

I love my tradition of taking my girls to einsteins for a date on their birthday.This is a pic from last year and this year.  Such a cute little girl.

 She had school on her birthday. This was her dressed up and this is the smile she gives me these days!

 EK likes to help do the dishes sometimes. I love it. She can be such a big help!

 Darrah gave me these prints she made for Burson's room. I.love.them. They are above his crib.

 Blake made this thing for above the diaper change table to hold diapers and wipes. I love how it looks! He did such a good job. I had shown him something a little different on pinterest and he came up with this whole door look and track. It looks even better in person!

 Speaking of molly moving to a big girl bed. The transition has been hard. She has fallen asleep outside our door many times.

Kauai trip

Blake and I got to go to Kauai in February! It was another trip due to him meeting his sales quota! So proud of my hubby!

We had such a wonderful trip. I was 33 weeks pregnant when we went! Thankfully my doctor was ok with me traveling up to 34 weeks that far! Whew, I just made it!

I brought my camera and when i got there realized that the memory card was at home. bummer. All the pics are from our phones so sorry the quality is not as good.

We stayed at the Grand Hyatt in Kauai and it was such a nice hotel. The pool below was like a beach. So relaxing.

We ate at this restaurant the most b/c I could see whales jumping as we sat and eat. Pretty incredible. I was missile locked in on watching the water most of the time so blake enjoyed that haha!

Once again his company spoiled us with awesome gifts each night. One of the gifts was picking out a pair of Maui Jim sunglasses. Pretty nice!

They also brought in Kelly Clarkson for a private concert this year. This was one of the gifts one night including an autographed CD and an IPOD nano.

we also got to get massages one day...this was the view from my room.

Blake took surf boarding lessons one day. I went along to watch. It was fun to see him and he caught on quickly!

one day we rented a car and drove to waimea canyon. it was gorgeous.

The girls had a blast with all their grandparents so that helped us handle being away from them so much  better!

Daddy & his valentines

For valentines Blake wanted to take both the girls out on individual dates. B/c we were out of town the week of valentines he did it a week early! The girls had valentines mailboxes that the ogdens made them last year and Blake wrote them a note asking them to be his date and put it in their mailbox! So sweet! The girls loved it! He and EK went to chick fila at northpark and then got special popcorn at uptown popcorn so they could watch a movie at the house ( no good kid movies in the theatre ). She loved it! Especially sharing a milkshake with him! She is getting so old!!


The next night Blake took Molly to chick fila and to pet smart to see all the animals!


She was excited for her date!


So thankful these girls have a dad that loves and cherishes them so much!

Late Halloween post 2012

I was looking through pictures on my phone and found these pictures from Halloween that I never posted. They were the cutest princesses I had to put them on here! Better late than never!

Molly is Two!

Of course she has been 2 over a month and I am just now writing this (as well as thank you notes) but better late than never! Molly- you are such a precious little nugget. Your daddy and I love you so so much! We cannot imagine life without you. 

You are so fun right now- talking up a storm. You love your baby dolls and will play with them for hours.

 Some of our favorite times with you are in the middle of the night! When you were in your crib, a few nights a week you would cry until we came into your room and would immediately change your tone and say, "where's my paci? Where's my blankie? Oh, there it is." you knew we were taking you to our room. It made us laugh every time how you could turn it off and on so quickly. You are probably the most restless sleeper I know! All over the place.

We recently moved you to Emery Kate's room and you love it. Most nights EK is asleep right away (b/c she isn't napping anymore) and you get up multiple times. One night I came out of the bathroom and found you playing "monkey" on my phone in blake's closet at about 10 pm. Another night you fell asleep outside our door for a few hours and I only realized it b/c I heard you coughing in the middle of the night. You are a mess!

 You love us so well. When we ask for a kiss, you give it and then say "and a hug"- oh how this melts us. You have been through a lot these past few months- two surgeries. One was an endoscopy/colonoscopy to try and figure out your anemia, falling on the growth charts, etc. You were such a trooper doing a 24 hour cleanout the day before! I was amazed at you! The other surgery was to fix your precious webbed fingers. Oh how i loved it but know that you probably wouldn't in a few years. You tolerated both so well. 

 You and Emery Kate are really playing well together now. You will go in the room together and play by yourselves for the longest time which is so precious to see (and hear). Right now y'all love to do check ups on one another and play with your dolls. I love that you girls want to be together. It blesses this mom!

You are such a good eater right now. You love peanut butter sandwiches and will eat them for any meal. At night, when I ask you what you are thankful for, you usually say animals or KiKi (aunt christy). You love all your cousins and get so excited to see them (especially campbell and hallie)! You also want to pray at every meal, although we never know what you are saying.

You think that you have a baby in your belly like me. So cute. You even tell me that he is kicking sometimes. You tell me all the time that you are a big sister and that Burson is coming in March. 

I love your cheesy smile so much when I try and get a picture of you.

Some of your favorite things right now are your blankie, your pacifiers, your doll Hallie, Diego, Chick fila, peanut butter, Chipotle, feeding ducks, playing outside, your sister, your cousins, dancing, family worship, and many others!

I love you so very much Molly! Your dad and I are so blessed to have you in our life!
