So, Blake bought a Sno Shack. Really...that is really our house and that is really a sno shack in front of it! Blake would drive by this house on his way home from work every day and he would see this sno shack in the backyard, so one day last week (when he was seriously craving a sno cone) he decided to knock on the door and ask if they were interested in selling it. Sure enough....they were! Blake and his friend Drew were fired up to sell sno cones. They researched places to do it and then ran into a hitch when they discovered Dallas doesn't allow permits for sno cone stands. Meanwhile, Blake was researching Craigs list and went ahead and listed the stand...before they had even officially bought it. And, Blake the entrepreneur, flipped the stand for over double what they purchased it for. They picked it up on a saturday where it sat in front of our house and a family from CALIFORNIA came and picked it up today...seriously. I am sure our neighbors are so relieved that they weren't going to have to call the city on us for having a hideous sno shack in front of our house. But, unfortunately Blake is still craving a sno cone. Anyone know where he can get one?

ReplyDeleteI've seen that shack on Skillman and it makes me want a sno cone too! :) LeeAnn told me the permit thing last night and I was so sad!!! I LOVE sno cones! :) TC's is pretty good- cash only of course...not TOO far from you guys. Then there's Bob's Sno Cones in Mesquite is good too on Galloway at 80.
